Help / Share and work together / When sharing stops

When sharing stops

Know when a collaborator stops sharing a project with you. After a finish, you can ask for the project again.

Your copy stays

  • When sharing stops, nothing is removed from your computer.
  • New changes no longer go between you and that person.

What you see

When a collaborator stops sharing a project with you, your Inbox tells you. If the share stopped because the project was finished, the row says that too.

The other person needs beta.9 or newer for this row.

Ask to share again

After a finish, only the person who started the project can share it again. You can ask them.

  1. Open the row in your Inbox, or the project’s Share page.
  2. Press the button that ends with “to share again”.
  3. Wait for the answer. Your ask reaches their computer when it is next on.

When someone asks you

If you started the project, your Inbox shows the ask. Press “Share again”. The Share page opens and asks you once more. Press “Share again” or “Not now”.

Nothing is shared until you press “Share again” on the Share page.
